Nov 2022 Ministry Update
Updated: Apr 17, 2023
Wow... When I sit down to write these blogs, I get time to just sit in the goodness of God. It brings me to tears every time to reflect on God's character. On who He is and what He's done. My heart can't help but burst with joyfully zeal. A love so deep that makes Him the center of every day.
I would love to share with you all some updates in our ministry here. With the coffee shop, it has been such a blessing for a gathering space. To have many fellow believers come through and have uplifting conversations with one another. To be a place of evangelism. Please be praying for the coffee shop space, as I have been praying fervently for the people God has for us to reach through this business. We have got to talk with people from all over the world. We have shared the Gospel with many. We have helped break down questions that have hindered people from knowing the true character of God. Seeds continue to be planted as we work joyfully for God.
Within the town has been such a great space for evangelism too! I have met many people to share the goodness of the Gospel with. I have had a big heart for the homeless here in the community, and there is also many Venezuelans here for the time being that I have got to love on.
Through it all, it has been a difficult transition. For the same reason I had the heart to come back to this town, it has been a hard place to live. To see the darkness and the spiritual powers of oppression. But by no means do we lose hope in the midst of this reality. We know that is why we are here. We have seen God bring many of His warriors here to this town, knowing that He is in the midst of bringing this town into the light. We are here to continue to obey His calling and bring His fruits.
A big update as well is our ministries vision to start a college-age discipleship group. Chloe and I have such big hearts for this age group, and the others at our ministry do as well! We see no coincidence in the necessity of this ministry and us being here. This is a huge importance in raising up the next generation to continue to impact this community and be workers of the harvest. Please pray for us to have wisdom and guidance as we seek to start this vision.
That is the update for now. We are so thankful for your prayers, and we are extremely thankful for our relationships with you all back home. It is hard to be away from great friends and family, and we have a deep love and appreciation for you all! May God give you peace in your journeys and may you abide in Him to greater know Him and serve Him!
Samson & Chloe
