May the peace and grace of Jesus Christ be with you!
Hello to all! We are excited again to share a monthly update. As always, we get to share all the fruit God has brought into these men's lives. These were men who lived without purpose. On the streets. Lost. Broken.
Now they are men filled with purpose through Jesus Christ. Living a life for God's glory. Restoring relationships with their spouses. Their children.
Check out the two new graduates and their testimonies. This is just a small, personal glimpse of the lives of each individual. Being a part of this ministry, I get to experience the blessing of building a brotherhood with each man in our program. To see where they came from and where they are now with Christ. It is an honor to be a part of it and I hope for those who have helped us make it possible, it is in honor for you. That you are helping build the Kingdom of Jesus through your part in the body of Christ.
We have now totaled 18 graduates from our program! We continue to see God's protection over their lives. 17 of them are walking with Jesus, and one has been able to return to another center to get additional support. God's grace and mercy abound in their lives.
These are men now living a new life, going out to make disciples. My encouragement to you is that God puts people in the lives of each of us. I can't minister to everyone. You can't minister to everyone. But if we take up our responsibility for where God puts us, that is when cultures change. Communities. Countries. The world. If we all take up the responsibility of our sphere of influence, we will see how God's glory is made known through His people. These are individuals who now follow Jesus. Next, they are going out and will make disciples. And those disciples will make more disciples. Expanding the Kingdom. We are called to be faithful laborers, even if we don't get to see the fruit or bear the harvest.
Family:
We are getting so close to our baby boy being born. It has felt like a long journey of pregnancy, but at the same time, it has gone so fast. It often feels surreal to think about seeing our child. To try to imagine the emotions that will follow when we hold our boy in our hands for the first time. To experience the love of a parent, which represents the love of God to us as our Father. I pray and have no doubt that being a father will draw me closer to the love of God, and understanding the heart of the Father.
Chloe has been so strong throughout the process. A strong wife and mother. With both of our hearts for a family and to raise our children as disciples of Jesus, we are excited to step into this new chapter. I love seeing the ways God has equipped Chloe to be a wonderful, God-fearing mother.
Visitors:
We currently have three boys from Rochester, NY visiting us. Two of them were in our youth group back in the States, and one is a friend of theirs. They have been plugging into all different ministries through the church and helping out at the rehab center. One of them will be back for 9 months this fall to be an intern for this coming school year. It has been a blessing to see his heart and passion for ministry. I again feel privileged to have young adult men from the States coming to grow as disciples and learn how to serve in missions.
Prayer Requests/Needs:
We ask you to continue to pray for Chloe and the baby as we approach birth. Pray for our little boy. Pray for his salvation. Thank you for your continued prayers during her pregnancy.
Please pray for our family as we learn to balance family life and ministry. Pray for God to give me wisdom on how to be a faithful dad, husband, and disciple-maker.
Please pray for God to continue to provide for our growing family and us. For those not on our team, we invite you to consider giving to the ministry or becoming a monthly partner. Here is our link to get involved!
May God bless you all and lead you in His love!
Samson
