October Update!

Blessings to all! We are grateful to be sharing another update about the ministry.

Great Commission

"Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. ¹⁹ Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, ²⁰ and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Matthew 28:18-20

Discipleship

What an honor it is to disciple these men. A lot of change has been on the horizon for our center, but God has been good and faithful throughout every part of it. We are in the process of moving over to a new property for the program. This property is WAY bigger than the one we are at now, so it provides a lot of opportunity. A way for us to find self-sustainable methods on our property as opposed to outsourcing work.

Your prayers can be for the men in this transition. The interruption of normal routine and structure can be very hard. We currently have half of our guys at the new property building more living quarters so we can get the rest of the guys out there. So we are, through God's strength, managing two different locations simultaneously. Please pray over our leaders as well. That God will uphold them with strength to persevere. That they will not feel discouraged.

Praise Report

Last month, we mentioned that 3 men graduated the program. They are all doing well! And what is neat is we have about 8 men in phase 3 now! And about 10 guys in phase 2! What this means is that we are retaining men to a higher capacity. Where phase 2 and 3 are becoming bigger in size than phase 1. This is a huge praise report! This is showing the fruit of the labor in this program. This also means that in the LORDs will we could have 8 graduates within the next 4 months!

Mission Groups

We have had multiple mission groups visit the rehab center over this past month. We had a group of former Teen Challenge students of Minnesota come to share the Word of God and encourage the men with their testimonies. To be a representation of the power of Christ at work in their lives. That we can find victory over sin!

We also had a group from North Carolina come through and spend time with our men. We are so thankful for bringing in the body of Christ to be a part of what God is doing here!

Current Fundraising Need

For those that desire to give, we invite you into our biggest current need. Our vehicle has undergone a large amount of repairs. It is currently in the shop and will probably end up being at least $1,500. So what we ask is that you, firstly, fervently pray for God's provision through this situation. Secondly, for those who feel pulled towards this need, to be prayerful in support. A reliable vehicle is essential for our role in ministry.

We have no doubt that God will provide. He has shown us over and over that his faithfulness goes before us. May your prayers be lifted up in faith believing the same.
